Offline Mode
Description
Offline mode lets you browse your music library without a server connection, but only caches metadata — it does not automatically download song files. Playback still requires a server connection unless the song has been cached or downloaded locally via the app.
What Gets Cached Offline
Offline mode only caches metadata for the following:

| Artists | Artist name, bio, etc. |
| Songs | Song title, duration, format, etc. |
| Playlists | Playlist name, song list structure |
| Audiobooks | Audiobook chapter info |
| Music Videos | MV metadata |
⚠️ Offline mode does NOT cache song files or cover images. Album art is not visible in offline mode.
Playback Behavior
- Songs in offline mode still connect directly to the server for streaming
- Offline playback is only possible for songs previously cached or downloaded via the app
- Uncached/undownloaded songs cannot be played while offline
Offline Search
Offline mode search queries locally cached metadata with powerful real-time search:
- Instant results as you type
- Searches across songs, albums, artists, playlists, and more
- No server connection required for fast retrieval
WebDAV Notes
- ⚠️ WebDAV operates in online mode and does not scan server media library resources
- WebDAV reads remote files directly and is incompatible with offline mode
How to Use
- Go to Settings → Cache/Offline
- Toggle "Offline Mode" on
- On first activation, the app syncs metadata locally
- All subsequent browsing uses local metadata
Notes
- Offline mode only caches metadata — no cover art or song files are cached
- To listen offline, use the app's "Download" feature in advance
- Switching back to online mode syncs the latest server data
- Offline metadata occupies minimal local storage
